MIcroVisions 2011

Posted on 21:01 by Unknown
Gregory Manchess

For six years now, Irene Gallo, Dan Dos Santos, and I have asked artists to contribute to a very small show at the Society of Illustrators, called MicroVisions. These 5x7” paintings are mini expressions of science fiction and fantasy. Over a week, they are auctioned on eBay, with the proceeds going to the Society's Student Scholarship Fund for promising art students interested in the genre.

Volunteering their time and skill, the artists have created miniature gems that have delighted the public and excited buyers as a chance to pick up original works by their favorite painters. Prices that won’t break the bank of the average enthusiast. All for a great cause.
