Inheritance Book Launch

Posted on 18:45 by Unknown
Over the years I've had the opportunity to do many book covers for a variety of established authors and major publishers. None have encompassed the scope and fan base that the novel "Eragon" started several years ago. Tomorrow November 8th, 2011 will mark the launch of the final book in the "Inheritance Cycle" aptly titled "Inheritance". This series has been a wonderful experience. These are simple covers - nothing overt or pumped up on genre steroids.  We wanted to create a quiet cover that focused on the personality of each dragon. The acceptance and use of these covers on a international level has been overwhelming.  The art has been used by more than thirty countries and their respective publishers. Additionally these covers have introduced my work to a  new international audience and have opened many doors to an entirely new world of licensing, assignments and friendships both here in the States and abroad. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the folks that have been involved and accompanied me on this wonderful journey...... so, thank you!

My good buddy, the author of the "Inheritance Cycle", Christopher Paolini will be in NYC tomorrow November 8th at 7:00pm for the official launch of "Inheritance". This will take place at the Barnes & Nobel on Union Square. I suggest you get there early for the festivities. I just spoke with the store and was told that attendees usually start lining up at 5:00pm. I was going to attend the launch but alas I have to rest after returning fron Illuxcon 4. You know how us artists party!
